Three of Wands.

You stand at the edge of a cliff, your back to the world, one hand on a tall staff. Two more stand beside you. Out on the grey water, ships come toward you through the mist.

Are they real? You can't be sure yet. Not knowing is not losing your hold. It is attention, waiting for proof.

Each of us lives partly inside a dream: the story of who we are, what others think, what will happen next. The Work is not to fear the dream. It is to notice when you are in one.

The Sanskrit word is Phala, fruit. What is real bears fruit. It arrives. It can be touched. It feeds someone.

So don't argue with the mist. Watch what comes into harbour.
