## About This Reading

Explore the Death card as 'The Intervention' in meditation. Understand the necessity of unmaking for renewal and psychological rebirth.

You're afraid to return to meditation because something in you actually died there. This isn't spiritual bypassing or gentle transformation—this is the raw terror of encountering your own dissolution. Your 'Conscious Shock' spread reveals Death as The Intervention, demanding you face what the Fourth Way calls conscious labor: the active dismantling of personality structures that have completed their cycle. Like the caterpillar that must literally dissolve into primordial soup before becoming butterfly, your meditative encounter offered a _nekyia_—a descent into psychological death that terrifies the ego's need for continuity. The fear you feel isn't resistance to overcome but recognition of genuine transformation's absolute nature. What if this terror is actually the threshold?
