Knight of Pentacles

Dhṛti (धृति)

Steadiness, Patience

Knight of Pentacles. He sits his horse and does not hurry, meeting your eyes. The pentacle rides on the horse's cloth, carried, not chased. This is patience as a working method: the next small step, done well, then the next. From outside it looks like stillness. Inside, it is building all the while.
