Holding the Sacred Ground of Self

    About This Reading

Explore the Seven of Wands and individuation. Learn to shed borrowed selves, embrace authenticity, and hold your inner ground with R Vincent.

Seven of Wands. Her eyes are closed. No one is climbing toward her. The staffs around her are not raised against anyone. She stands on a peak she climbed herself, and she holds still. You ask what individuation means. Jung would say it is not becoming good. It is becoming whole. And the borrowed self does not attack. It waits for you to get tired. In the Fourth Way, the climb is not the work. Staying awake on the summit is. So what are you still performing to be accepted? Notice it. You do not have to fight it. Only stop feeding it. The Sanskrit word is Dhairya, steadfast courage. Stand where you are. The wind is not your enemy. It is how you know you are standing.
